May I remind you that there are many fragments of NT manuscripts that are less than a page so it is near impossible for you to maintain your presumptions. It is expected that the Canon of the Roman Church would be different to the Canon or teachings of the Marcionites, Valentinians, the Basilidians, Encratites, Cerinthians, Saturnilians, Marcosians, Justin Martyr, Montanist, Theophilus, Athenagoras and others. |

This really means little because "Justin" does not present a set of canonized texts. Where you have canonized texts they are always the ones we know about. And of course, "Justin" never explains WHICH cities WHERE and WHO and WHICH people, colleagues and predecessors he is talking about.

First Apology 67 Quote:
There is absolutely no evidence from antiquity that the Canon of the Jesus cult was always a set of writings. Do not the Mormons have their own Canon? Are not Mormons regarded as Christians? It is the very same thing in antiquity. There were multiple cults that were called Christians and they most likely had their own Canon or Sacred Texts that did not have to include an y writings from the Canon. |
