I'm after some websites where I can read respectable (academic) finding from legitimate acheologists researching biblical history.

I have a christian friend, but he keeps pointing me to biased websites that claim to have found the ark, etc, and try justify the bible by any means necessary.

Bibleinterp.com is not confined to archeology, but is very good. Unfortunately, it hasn't been kept up recently.

There's also Biblical Archeology Society, which tends to cater to those who want to justify the Bible, but is more sophiticated than the latest find of the Ark.
