Exclamation Radiation Levels Unsafe

Edward Teller and the DOE lied to us throughout the 1950's... Oh you knew that!

Well, anyway, there is no safe or beneficial level of radiation. The risk of cancer is always there.

The preponderance of scientific evidence shows that even very low doses of radiation pose a risk of cancer or other health problems and there is no threshold below which exposure can be viewed as harmless, a panel of prominent scientists concluded Wednesday.
I was one who earned some change radon "proofing" basements. I would actually tell people that radon was only a concern if they lived in their basements for decades, but they still hired me to seal up their walls just in case.

I wonder why some of these peple weren't concerned with their nicotine stained walls.

Oh no, radiation! I never learned what it really is, but the media tells me everything I need to know. Radiation is a large green monster that eats children and costs taxpayers lots of money whilst handing out speeding tickets.

Looking at the figures, its not all that groundbreaking. Assuming its a very large and accurate study, having a dosage over 30 times background, equivalent to nearly 1000 chest x-rays, results in a 1% chance of cancer/lukemia.

Seems quite misleading though:
"No Radiation Level Safe" as a title
Eventually accepts that the group decided that the 1990 estimates were fine.
