Which is really weird, becasue in my experience, the atheists that I jave known are universally more law abiding, compassionate, and 'moral' than the most fervent bible nuts I have come across.

Now I find it distubring what those people are saying. Some of them seem to think that atheist practice beastiality. I never knew an Atheist that did that. Also the idea what we can't have morals if we have no god is flawed. We can still have our own morals based on how we think others should treat us.

I'm going to make an honest effort t answer some of the questions, but the admin does seem rather fired up over this topic. I'm going to try and get him to just post a few things and start fresh and go from there.

But, yes, he/she does seem to have some gross misconceptions about atheism.

Edited to add: Hey, does anyone know of anyone other than the pedophile trolls that has ever been banned from this site? I found it interesting that they claim that we ban christians who come here. We're pretty tolerant of some nasty accusatory behavior IMHO...

The only person I know of is ARN's mturner, who was banned for anti-semitic remarks that he had been warned about making.

I think the whole 'watch it - they ban you if yoiu don't agree' comes form 'leonarde's' (roseland) paranoia. He posted in a thread here after 'mb' had said some inflammatory things and a mod here 'warned' about the tone of the threasd. Leonard insisted in some PMs to me that this was a sign that Peez (I think it was) was out to get him basically.

So, major hysteria/paranoia premoised on the usual antics of conservative/Chrisitian board "moderatores", I suspect.
