Both FUNDIES AND HJERS beliefs are IDENTICAL at times.
Do you DENY that YOU and YOUNG-EARTH CREATIONISTS have in common the SAME BELIEF? YOU and YOUNG-EARTH CREATIONISTS hold the common belief that water is wet. Both YOUR AND YOUNG-EARTH CREATIONISTS' beliefs are IDENTICAL at times.

men_sana am surprised that your wasting your time on aa5874.You think you can convince him the historicity of Jesus?

Its like trying to tell an Islamic fundamentalists he's wrong seconds before blowing up a bus.

its all in vain!

Your statement is true. Young-earthers, carpenters, scientist, cooks, garbage collectors, maids, atheists, school-children, MJers, fundamentalists, HJers protestants, muslims, hindus, and catholics consider water to be wet.

This thread is NOT about belief in the wetness of water.

Now, within the groups listed, Fundamentalists, HJers, Protestants, Catholics have a DISTINCT and Fundamental belief that Jesus was Real.

This DISTINCT belief, that Jesus was REAL, among HJers, Catholics, Protestants and Fundamentalists, is both COMMON and CONSTANT.

I thought you would have said HJ'S real name was Eusebius.

But, seriously, it seems as though something massive happened in the 4th century with respect to Eusebius, Constantine and the Church and it just was not only the canonisation of the NT.

While it's clearly futile to hope that aa5874 might learn something, we must never forget the lurkers. You never know when a new one might come along and wonder whether aa is making a valid point.

According to scripture :-Isaiah 52:13 the suffering servant who will be HJ will suffer and be unknown in the process, it is only when the New Jerusalem has come will we know.

It hasn't happened yet [I don't think,] so I can't answer your questions.

so
1-8 dunno.

So what?
HJers and Fundies believe Jesus is real and use the NT as their guide to construct Jesus. Perhaps a better description of an HJer is a weak fundie.

True.

Not necessarily true, but if it is, so what?

Catholics and Protestants both believe that Jesus is real and both use the NT as their guide to construct Jesus. Is that a good reason to describe a Catholic as a weak Protestant, or a Protestant as a weak Catholic? No.

Obviously it's better for you to describe people who believe in a historical Jesus as 'weak fundies': it makes it easier for you to substitute rubbish for legitimate argument.
