No. Me neither.

Prat--"a pregnant fish"

This was according to a British professor who admitted he was disappointed to know this. However, my OED [Cue Rule Britannia.--Ed.] gives the first definition as based on "prank" or a "trick." Here are the alternates

2. Buttocks--criminal slang
2a. Hip-Pocket--US criminal slang--Huh?
3. Dolt-fool-jerk

oh well . . . not as eggregious as it sounds.
