So if I all of a sudden start posting from a Christian POV, and another atheist complains, would CF take my humanist icon away and give me a Christian one ?

Not gonna do it, the thought just popped in my head...

That is an interesting question, can we comment on our own actions.

But, right now, the various heresies that have to be accepted because those people provide ad revenue are here to stay.
Do you really think this is about money?

I don't think this issue will be fixed; it's been a problem for at least five years now, and the people who could do something about it either don't care or actively prefer it this way.

It won’t be fixed until enough active members agree that it is an issue, not the few posters from here or the few that chime in the DR but it has to be a concerted effort by the general membership, much like the civil rights movement. .Unfortunately Christianity being what it is, especially conservative Christianity, a very exclusive club, I don’t foresee most members standing up and saying that’s right the name needs to be changed to Nicene Christians (I would leave off only it is the language of exclusivity) or topically based as recommended in Stumpjumper’s thread or divided into 3 sections..

Do keep in mind, no matter the public statements, there are plenty of people on staff who have affirmatively stated that one person or another "isn't Christian", even if that person accepts the Creed. As long as that's the case, the claims that no one is being called non-Christian are lies, plain and simple.
Would this qualify as gossip?

So what is Clippy up to? Does he think there are nonchristians hiding in the closet of the moderators conference room? Who is he trying to get rid of?
