It is only the evidence which counts. You can't run away from the fact. You can't shift the boundaries. You either deal with the evidence or you have little useful to say. spin |

In our mythology this would be the book of Genesis where unstructured space is the beginning and where it also is the end for the examined life. This would be the reason why in the new heaven and new earth the sea is no longer (Rev.21:1). As I see it, it was about 6000 years ago that 'this' ancient goat herder (for all I care) did come full circle and decided to write his own story (this makes him a myth maker) wherein he exposed the beginning of the journey of life and tied it to land, water and sky. Knowledge is called water and data is land. Dry land is something we can 'stand' on because it is rationally ours. It is flat because it is only ours as opposed to the heavens (plural) that is ours via the incarnation process (our heritage is 'water' by which we are predestined) but is not rationally ours until we come full circle. To get there we must learn to walk on water and when it becomes solid (rationally ours) we will have arrived in the new heaven and earth where the sea is no longer, obviously not because that is where heaven is at. Gen 1 describes the metaphysics of this plan, Gen 2 the physics and in Gen 3 we enter upon this journey ourselves. But I'll stop here. |
