Tas, that's a pretty harsh thing to say.

Interesting comment.

I see the appeal as kind of a "checks and balances" issue like the government.

Staff on these fora have power too centralized----on CF it is specifically spelled out; on IATL they claim to be not interested in power and eschew rulemaking and instead commit evil by fiat.

Of course, diversity in all types of staff is needed and some, including some of our participants here, should never be included in either a judical, executive, or legislative role.

I have appt with doc on Tuesday to discuss the joint thing, my inability to focus and my insomnia. I somehow think the three are probably related. If he comes up with any bright ideas on the insomnia front, I'll let you know.

Not according to the wowsers where somebody can see your tits.

Plus, the anti-breastfeeding, pro-formula movement began in earnest after World War II and was an integral part of the "back to being barefoot in the kitchen" push for women in that era. Also, all but universal circumsiciion of baby boys began in that era too. It was a time of squeamishness and repression, to which today's pecksniffs harken back. it's gone forever though and good riddance.

Breast milk is the God-provided food for babies. Although today formula does an excellent job of nourishing babies whose mothers choose not to or can't nurse, there is no excuse for trashing a mother doing the natural thing and feeding her baby.

If someone can see THROUGH the baby's head to your actual tit then maybe we should do something about the transparent-headed babies out there today

Now that it's the weekend, I'll try something. It won't be ambien, though. That stuff really messes up my short-term memory. It also puts about 30% of my vocabulary out of reach for some reason. Those side effects took weeks to wear off. I sometimes wonder if I permanently lost some small percentage of...um....what's the word...?
