In the last few days, I have added three new essays in my Ethics Without God series.
Part XXIII is directly concerned with the global warming issue, but is more generally concerned with the ethics of belief. It is another application of the principle that SciGirl has advocated here a few times -- that people can not only be held morally accountable for their conclusions, but moral judgments can be made against the arguments people use in defense of those conclusions. Part XXIV is concerned with the ethics of human cloning. Part XXV on the surface discusses space development. Yet, contained within this are some important components of environmental ethics and an examination of some of the merits and demerits of capitalism. |
