I don't see what's so funny about it. It's actually pretty good evidence of straight-up selfish nastiness in humans. So?

I also fail to see the humor. Rush hour traffic sucks, and most of the traffic is caused by assholes changing lanes constantly (amplified if htey don't use turn signals) that cause people to slam on their breaks and slows down the entire lane, which causes people to switch to other lanes, etc etc.

You have to know how to work traffic; turn on the signal, wait until you get between two cars, and start sliding in. They won't hit you.

The "primary vanpool driver" is probably one of the assholes that cuts me off while doing 50 in the fast lane (I drive at a safe and consistent 75 to make up for it :-p)

I agree. I get the same feeling from customers when they call to the company, they don't care about anything other than their own problems, even if you tell them that the technican has a list and he has to work in the order that each customer calls they will try to put themselves first and claim that their problem is so urgent that they cannot wait, etc.

Yeah. Exactly. I guess, I see nothing unusual about the claim that this is evidence that humans are selfish and, at least some of the time, mean. I mean, what next? Mocking those wacky theists when they claim that malnutrition and starvation are evidence that humans need food?
