That is not an explanation. It is only a rewording of your allegation.

Oh and dave, lemme "twist your words" again a bit, as you always say I do:

Maybe I was delusional and this guy didn't really exist at all. It is possible that I was enforcing my own delusion through church, bible-study, reading YEC propaganda, witnessing etc. All these things would be sufficient examples of enforcement for the inculcation and preservation of a delusional mindstate. I look forward to meeting him if he really does exist, so I can ask him again. In particular I'd like to ask him: "Given that Human and Chimp DNA is so closely related... and given the universal fine tuning which allows us to calculate precisely the decay of a radioactive isotope... and given that a huge variety of methods derived from these universal laws give consilient dates for the age of the earth into billions of years.. then what problem does he have with my believing that the earth is billions of years old and that humans and chimps are related?" Do you think i'll get an answer Dave? I have to ask him since you cannot answer it (at least in the past year you haven't managed to). Perhaps now would be a good time: Dave, Does a person have to believe in a literal reading of Genesis in order to be saved? A simple yes or no will do. Cheers Spags |

Study of Khufu's Pyramid (and other pyramids) clearly shows that the Dynastic Egyptians knew a great deal about observation-based practical astronomy - that is they could use observation to orientate pyramids and to align interior passages with particular stars. That Khufu's Pyramid 'encodes' secret information about the astronomical unit, the length of the earth's polar axis, the exact length of the year (to several decimal places of accuracy), etc, is something for which there is no evidence.

Let us not side-track Dave from the important point.
Dave, you have committed libel: you have claimed that every competent scientist in the world is committing fraud or is criminally stupid. Provide evidence or retract this libel. |

And in the meantime, Dave: how are you doing with locating that mile-thick layer of sediment your biblical flood deposited around the world? Have you found it yet?

And while you are at it, could you explain how the biblical flood formed all the large underground salt deposits underneath your mile-thick sediments?
