When I say the bible is a myth, yes, but myths are deep spiritual truths, given to us by those tribes.

Now Im not saying the bible is invalid, in fact its far more valid than either the infidel or fundie would want to admit.

The bible is a mind book, telling you how to get your mind right.

The stories were written and have hidden meaning for a reason.


You must be privvy to a celestial source of information. To do that you can not read ancient texts literally because when you do, your dwelling totally in the physical. You must go beyond to the electrical meaning. That will activate the electro person that you are.

When you look at any scripture from thousands of years ago, you cannot look at the story. That is deliberately constructed to mislead those who will not follow the God or Christ plan of inner meditation.
You don’t look at the story or the person in the story. You look at the principle that the person in the story represents. This is very important for instructions to flow to you from what you call the other side.


So then why was the information Hidden???

The higher ones left this material and deliberately hid it from those who have their own rules and their own agenda. People in religions who use this material to make money and control others are racing around concentrating on the literal stories. They miss out completely.
If they knew the truth they would also prostitute the truth and destroy it for everyone. So it is hidden from them.

Lets take a look at the stupidity of reading the bible literally: If you are a Jehovah witness, you are taught that you cannot touch blood, why, because of the bible verse "But flesh with the life thereof, which, is the blood thereof, shall yhe not eat." So thay let their children die, because they refuse blood transfusions, if one of their children or even themselves gets injured. So they die, why? because it was gods will, phooey, it was not the will of any god that cause the deaths of their children, it was their own will, because they were brainwashed by religion, and read their bible literally instead of looking for the higher meaning. Blood is a symbol of the life force, Jesus, God, the electrical current of the body. Blood everywhere symbolizes devine truth of the Lord. So atonements, shedding of blood, dont eat blood, dont touch blood, really means dont interfere with that which is the spiritual life force, dont eat it, dont consume it, let it flow through you. THATS WHY THE BIBLE SAYS THAT THE BLOOD OF JESUS CLEANSES ALL SINS.

Its the electrical current flowing through you uninterupted. Its a symbol like all the other verses in the bible. But people who have been brainwashed into the Jehovah Witness Cult, have had their lives destroyed and their families too, because they go to other brainwashed people for answers, and they all fail, thay all dont get it. Its sad that one would have to go their whole lives not understanding the metaphysical symbolic truths in the bible, which are beautifully described in their hidden meanings.

The bible says that the mark of the beast in revelations is the number of a man. The human body is made up of carbon, carbon 12 to be exact, and it is made up of 6 electrons 6 protons and 6 nuetrons. 666. You see its the physical that is the beast, its the physical thats caused all the wars and all the killing, not the spiritual. The flesh truly is the beast, because its the lower nature, that old dragon the satan. But when you meditate you rise above the flying things of the mind and the creeping things nof the subconscious, you touch the lamb, the pineal gland and are united with your true family of life and light. And you overcome satan (666) which is the Ego centered physical, symbolically meshec, shedrac and abendego of the bible. Here the carbon based unit melds into one spritual or electron unit and sees god face to face. And your life is preserved.

Sort of. Religion (presumably, I don't know from personal experience) must probably be 'experienced" to reveal it's complete value. As an atheist, I'm not that quick to negate the value of something I haven't experienced. Who cares what's "true" and "not true" in some abstract, factual, universalist sense anyway? Why is that so important?

Even the myths are spoiled if we are constantly thinking, "That isn't REALLY true, of course." Heck, you can't even enjoy a novel reading it that way. To suspend disbelief, and 'experience" religion must be sort of fun. After all, what is "real" and what is not real is, to some large extent, in the eye of the beholder.

My guess: many religious people are simply suspending disbelief. Let the Bacchanalias begin! Would they be as fun if we were constantly questioning the existance of Bacchus?

Except the bible writers had no idea that humans were carbon-based life, or that carbon atoms existed, or that they have an atomic number of 6 and an atomic mass of 12. They had no idea that protons, neutrons, or electrons existed.

And Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were three Jewish youths taken into captivity by Nebuchadnezzar.

So basically the above "symbolism" is nonsense.

Though you can find different variations of it. But the actual quote has a different meaning than the way you quoted it, obviously.

But note that the above Campbell quotes won't carry much weight among many posters on this site. And I don't think Campbell would find much of value in the odd ways you've been metaphorically interpreting the Biblical myths in your posts. Campbell didn't mean that one should just attach any metaphorical meaning that suited your fancy to various myths.
