Default The heap paradox solved

The heap paradox is quickly solved: A heap is not countable. If we insist on counting the members of a heap, we are no longer considering a heap but a counted group or set. The fact that the heap and the counted group are the same object is immaterial.
Why is this? I will tell you. A heap is not counted because the members of which it is composed are 'heap members' and are indistinguishable from each other, and hence uncountable. If we wish to distinguish, and hence count, members of a group, we map distinguishable objects outside the group (previously called the heap) to indistinguishable or distinguishable objects within the object that we previously referred to as a heap. A heap is not the same as a counted group or set.

You're still going on about uncountables? Where's your backup to this? Your proof? You're evidence? C'mon!

Abstract:

Er, who argued that a non-counted heap of something is the same as a set? I could throw my counted set into a heap, and as long I do not add more set particles, it is the same set, but now in a heap.

Heap means: A group of things placed, thrown, or lying one on another.

Concrete:

Therefore, if I had a limited amount of shit, and counted all the different individual shit atoms, I would have a set of shit. Now, if I further placed all these atoms into a pile of shit by throwing each one with a manly throw, I would eventually have a heap of shit counted as a set. As long as I do not add any more shit atoms to my newly piled heap of shit, it's still the same shit set.

because you don't introduce logic, and you don't answer questions, and it has nothing to do with anything else.

Why Wiploc, why? Why weed white willows when white willow warrant white willows? When Wiploc whips white willows with White Willy, where will White Willy whine? Whatup Wippy? Whoopers will wade with Wittgenstein when winter waxes. Where why, why where, where why, where why, why where? When wankers whinge where Washington willed, will witless witches wish with warming wishbone wobbling while wonderful wonks wank with wood, woof, woof, woof?

Welcome to Elsewhere folks. You know, in a foreign land not unlike our own, people used to kill useless or disobedient people and call it elsewhere. I'm glad we don't do that here, with all the post whoring and whatnot. We'd all be gonners...

I can answer your question, in as much detail as you wish. However,if your question is philosophical I think it should not be answered on the 'elsewhere' forum. Sorry.

My post was moved before I could reply to anyone. If you have a question that is philsophical, why are you on the 'elsewhere' forum?
