I think this quote from the website sums it up quite nicely: "If you are a physics enthusiast, please ignore our omission of mass, gravity, and density." OK. If we omit basic physics, maybe the Bible really will turn out to be amazingly scientific.

And many apologists look at passages and say, "Hmmm, how can we make this biblical passage compatable with modern cosmology?" instead of "Hmmm, what did the ancient Hebrews most likely believe about the universe?" Sometimes a pillar of the earth is just a pillar of the earth.
