Default Why does no one seem to trust in God?

Has anyone stopped to consider that the reason God turned Terri Schiavo's brain to liquid and took away her ability to swallow might be that He wants her in heaven?

Why aren't all good Christians calling for them to quit forcing pre-chewed food into her empty mindless body, have someone read her her last rites, and let her go to her eternal reward with Him?

Does no one trust God anymore?

I trust God, but I also have looked into this case, and I think it's clear that her husband has been wanting her dead for years now. Not Terri wanting to die, her husband wanting her to die.

So even if she's going to be in a better place, that doesn't mean that we should support the actions of people who clearly have their own agendas that aren't about "Terri's wishes", as they say.

I don't know,I haven't really followed the case, Perhaps it's because of the "thou shalt not kill" commandment?
It is within human ability to keep her alive- so I suppose in a biblical way,it could be argued that by withdrawing her life support it makes a form of murder?

Yeah, okay. That must be why she's never had a bedsore in her entire life; because he obviously wants her to die.

Don't you get it? Terri can't "want" anything! She's as sentient as the piece of corn that was in my shit last time I used the john!

so you trust that god doesnt want her to be able to eat. but since her hubby has alterior motives, we need to go against gods wishes and keep her alive. just to spite her murderous greedy husband. lets keep her from that better place so we can teach her husband a lesson to not want the same thing god does. lets leave it to the religious and keep her alive to lay there in a vegitative state for the next 30-40 years.

I don't know about anyone else, but if I become a vegetable, and I'm not prognosed as coming out of it...un-hook me after about a year or so.

Thanks in advance.

Why would you care. You as you think now would be gone allready. What we, the living, do with your zomby body can't matter to you in the slightest.

I wouldn't care.

But I'd at least like to save some people their time, money and love.

nope. Murder would constitute an action against a living human being. None of those conditions apply.

There's food and water in the building, all the body of T.S. has to do is get up and get it.
