Default Having sex with animals

Humans and animals having sex would be ethical as it might create new species which would be a good thing.

Right ?

Also animals do not tend to be able to breed beyond their immediately-related species.

I don't understand your reasoning. What inherent positive value does creating more species have? Unless the new species was of some utility, it would seem to be a pointless endeavor.

1) your two statements contradict each other, the latter one is more correct.

2) prove an animal can give consent, and then we'll talk.

It may be possible with some higher primates but who would want to have sex with a chimp? they're bloody crazy.

Yes we can. I believe the Nazis tried various interbreeding experiments on human females.
