Lightbulb The Quest For True Christians

{Mod edit- The full article can be found here. It lists several Bible verses that suggest Christians should gladly part with their money when someone asks them to, and provides commentary as well. The article sums up with this}:

Quote:
I need all the people here claiming to be real Christians to send me $1000.00 (US) or 650.00 (UK) by personal check or wiring. Now I could have been greedy and asked for everything you have but that would be unfair to deprive the Real Christians of the means to support their loved ones. Obviously the False Christians who do not follow the word of Jesus will not send anything contrary to the instructions of Jesus.

So, If you truly Walk in the spirit of the Lord then you can contact me via e-mail to get an address to send the money. If your faith is not worth $1000 then I'm afraid I can not listen to anything you say because you are a False Prophet destined for Hell.

I propose the following test. You would of course have to get the Christian to agree with it and sign the proper release forms.

1) Arrange with the Christian an agreed upon sign to determine if
a) They got it right or
b) They got it wrong.

This would have to be a sign that they could send from heaven (or hell).

Arrange to have the Christian killed. Then wait for the sign. If there is no sign then still in doubt, need to test on more Christians. If you get sign (a) then you have your religion and if you get sign (b), oh well, the poor bastard has died in the name of science at least. If you got sign (a) you would of course have to test it several times to make sure you aren't getting a false positive. I might take thousands if not hundreds of thousands of trials.

What do you think?

Matthew 7:15 KJV
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Jesus learned this from the already well established warning with concern to him in Deut. 4:2,13, and 18. He 'figured', since he got away with that somehow, he must try some of his own ideas to try to stop others from 'muscling in on his racket',... oops, islam.

Default No quest for Christians is needed.

True "Christians have died in the Lord. They have found rest from their labors and their good works accompany them" (Rev.12:13).

There was one true Christian who was killed early on, the rest of you are pretenders.

Interesting spiel, funny punchline. I also find it here. I wonder where it originated.

He got a check!

Holy crap, there really are people stupid enough to send you money for anything.

On the other hand, this could be a real business oppourtunity. Christians would have a way to be certified as True Christians (TM), and atheists would have a way to buy more beer.

I'll be you dollars to doughnuts he didn't cash that check, but he can't say that on his web site or he'll be indunated with fakers. Actually, if it were me, I'd cash the check to make sure it cleared, and then send them back a check of my own.

Religion is business without any of the checks and balances of business. You can get away with fleecing people as Paul did because it is religion. Biggest scam there ever was. I am amazed that anyone would want to be a Christian, but I can see why people would want to be Christian Ministers (con artists).
