I see the problem. That nun is really cheap. She should have been slipping him $20 bills at least.

Boycotting is not the same as censorship.

On second thought this post is probably just an advertisement. I mean, I imagine that like most of you I had never heard of this site until Betty came along and asked us to avoid it. Seems counterproductive if she really doesn't want people to go there.

I'm a bit dismayed that people misconstrue true concern for advertising.

My concern is that a lot of people must know about Mr. Grey. Not only does he have the ability to affect us and our children through his web site, he also has coffee table books, calendars, and a clothing line with these images available. He can infultrate every corner of our existence with his works of 'art'. If you type "Athen Grey" into Yahoo or Google, especially Google, page upon page come up. What other sneaky keywords might he have that he may pop up in other unexpected searches?

I was merely looking for a photographer to take a family portrait when I stumbled across Mr. Grey's site. If he deceived me, how easily can he deceive others?

I recommend Robert Mapplethorpe for family portraits. He can capture that moment in every young boy's life when his father poops on his chest.

warning, slightly impolite reply. I dislike it when people try and legislate morality for the rest of us. The image is crude, yes, but that is not a crime.

only children who intentionally sign up for his site. If parents don't want them to see that sort of thing, shouldn't they be monitoring their internet browsing? There are horrible things on the net, yes, and no amount of censoring will change that. Better to just grow a thicker skin.

Only the existence of those who buy those coffee table books, calendars, and clothing. You realize this stuff is opt-in? You're not going to get one of these calendars unless you buy one, you're not going to see these images unless you sign up for his site. That's actually some fairly decent protection right there; you're not going to just stumble across these pics by sheer accident.

If you don't like his site you're quite free to set up your own site to inform people about it, but nobody is under any obligation to change the world for you just because you happen to get offended.

On the other hand, if you ask him nicely he might be willing to post a 'warning, inappropriate for minors' thing on the signup page. Did you try being reasonable before you decided to get offended?

And he could have thought rays beaming pictures of his art into our minds so that we dream about them too. Just like on Futurama.

How about "of" and "the"? Those are sneaky words all right; they crop up so often, even on so-called christian webpages.

Thread closed for being rather rather obviously an attempt at "reverse psychology" spam.
