There is also a Green Scholars Initiative A result of this effort appears to be the identification of a fragment of Hebrews from the second century, although a student at Baylor seems to have rushed it to press too early. |

Did I ever tell you the time I brought my Samaritan friend to the Holy Land Experience in Orlando? http://www.holylandexperience.com/ That was an experience. He actually quite liked it and was wondering how the Samaritans could build something like this in Israel (of course he realized almost immediately that the Palestinian Authority would blow it up). Yet I think he really thought it was a cool idea. They had a replica of the Tabernacle with the Ark of the Covenant and he actually re-discovered some Samaritan manuscripts he didn't know existed and in fact were completely undocumented. I remember reading about it in a journal somewhere. For Orlando residents we capped the evening off with a visit to Cleo's where he end up dancing on stage with some of the women. They were calling him the 'Bad Samaritan' all night. The whole story belongs in a book. |

Seems interesting. But will this museum be including any mention of some of the more skeptical theories about the Bible? The JEDP or Documentary Hypothesis. Lord Raglan's profile of legendary heroes -- Moses, Jesus Christ, etc. Matthew and Luke copying off of Mark. Etc. |
