I don't know how "Jeffrey Jay Lowder" entered this conversation, but he is a user here at IIDB, and that means he has user protections.

When you said "Just like the stench that I could sense from this Jeffrey Jay Lowder," that was an indirect insult. You are claiming that you are sensitive, and that bad smells indicate bad people. As such, you are claiming that Jeffrey Jay Lowder is a bad person.

Because it is an indirect insult, I'm removing that quote from your post.

I have no idea how, or how well, you cope. From what I've seen though, you are clearly not completely mad. Madder than a box of frogs, but not completely.
Your sense of balance is of little interest to me.
I am pleased for you. But then again, you would think so, wouldn't you?
I do believe you. A UFO is an unidentified flying object, no more and no less, and I have no trouble accepting that you and the others saw something. The "hovering" is rather more problematic, but a variety of things might hover or appear to.

Now, if you are contending more about the nature of the unidentified object -- for example that it was an alien spacecraft -- then I have to introduce you to a principle known as Ockham's Razor. Look it up. It does not rule out the alien-craft hypothesis by any means. It does however suggest it is very, very, very unlikely. And that means we need more data than merely hearsay. For all we know, you might have ingested some particularly fine mushrooms: your visions were real, but what you saw was not.
Do you not see a difference between me saying "I saw an alien spacecraft land on my lawn" and "I saw a Tesco lorry on the M3"?

The latter is far from unlikely. It conforms with a great deal else we know about supermarket distribution networks, motorised vehicles and the M3.

The former is incongruent with what we know about space and space travel and, come to that, the size of my lawn. It is however congruent with what we know about psychology.

We need better from you than "I saw it so you ought to believe me".

1) What part of this warning do you take to be a precursor to banning?

2) Why do you think it is not related to the insult towards Jeffrey Jay Lowder?

3) Why do you feel it is in response to the other material you have posted?

IIDB is a very tolerant place. Unless you have:

A. Spammed the board

B. Repeatedly insulted IIDB members (remember, attack the argument, not the person)

Or

C. Refused to comply with the conditions you agreed to when you joined

You will not be banned.
