Hey sugar, and if the cross of eternal salvation is for sinners only sin must be good and now all of a sudden the bad apples are the 'ones' he keeps.
Hey, Chili, the cross of Salvation is for sinners only, which means for all of us...but only the smart bad apples are the ones He will keep.

So your saying that 'smart' people are the only ones He will keep ? And the rest of humanity can just burn in hell ?

Ah, so God was doing them a favour by slaughtering them. Gotcha. Next time a parent loses a child to sudden infant death syndrome, I'll remind them of how lucky they are.

Er, no it didn't. The Nephilim are still around in Numbers 13:33

Well, why not? He's God, I'm sure He can multitask.

He could have created life without the ability to form unholy unions. After all, He didn't allow humans to mate with dogs or sea otters or hippopotami ...

But when it comes to exercising it, my free will is that of the victim of an armed mugging.

Well I will say that you are a good sport and too bad you are on the wrong side of the fence. The 'all of us' here is needed to 'set the stream of consciousness' against which sin is made known but is religion specific so that we can walk away from it (as Jesus did who we must follow) and thus be set free from the yoke of slavery and sin.

This then is why I hold that there can be no such thing as a Christian religion unless one is destined to be a purgatorian for life and still die nonetheless.

If we won't believe whatever Sugar tells us, we deserve no better. It could hardly be more obvious.

If your Jesus were anything more than an ancient cartoon superhero, he'd probably be pissed at you for your unearned smugness.
