Just wondering what exactly people mean when they say we belong to this religion.
Christians apparently are those who believe in redemption through Christ, but even there there had been many groups who thought Christ was fully human, or fully divine or OT God was evil. Until the catholic church bludgeoned the rest into submission no one agreed as to what Christ actually symbolises. Today Christians cannot even agree on how to interpret the Bible correctly. Every sect believes the others are going to hell. Same with Muslims. though they are supposed to believe in the Koran and Muhammad they are split into so many groups, and every group is convinced that others are going to hell. So what in the world do the religions represent exactly? |

With concern to christians and muslims, they present a misrepresentation and corruption of Judaism and Jewish beliefs.
Judaiam's different sects are much more ordered and logical having to do in how much observance of the Laws. While christianity is split into an obscene amount of different sects, many having such wide degrees and very polar and contradictory views of the belief. |
