There's no need to make it this complicated AA by using secondary comparisons. Everyone agrees that there is a direct relationship between the extent of belief in HJ and Creationism. Joseph ErrancyWiki |

There is a far greater causation and correlation between creationism, climate change denialism, young earth creationism, inspired literalist biblical belief, religious fundamentalism and christianity in general, all of which are faith based, than there is between any of the apologist inspired accusations of the former with mythicism
It is simple self projection, seeing self in a mirror, for christian apologists, a desperate attempt to divert attention from their own lack of logic and evidence and science to make the absurd claims that are in the OP. Sad. |

So the comparison is inspired by Christian apologists. That is unexpected. I would expect that they would be insulted by the comparison, since they are creationists and they think mythicists are idiots, but maybe they wouldnt be as insulted by the comparison as mythicists tend to be?

Ergo, those who are 'up front' about creation are antichrist. For the reasons given earlier. Do get better spectacles. |

None of them thought that mythicists were idiots in general, but they saw mythicism as a hindrance to their ability to recruit innocents into their religion. Some of them might actually have been creationists of some stripe. They were just using a rhetorical strategy to get non-believers to argue with each other. It seems to have worked. |
