Question Halloween vs. cake or what's up with the Catholics??

Based on this article. Gah! The Catholic Church annoys me to no end! Give it a rest and let the kids have some fun! Sheesh! :banghead:

I'll bet they don't even know the full history behind the holiday ... or are choosing to ignore portions of it anyway.

I'd just as soon NOT find an inflatable toy in my meal.

Ssshh! Don't tell them that their days and months all have Pagan names. They'll want to change that too!

From the article
As hordes of French children dress up as witches and monsters on Friday night, some 10,000 Christians are expected at a free rock concert in Paris to celebrate the Christian All Saint's Day on Saturday and Sunday's Festival of the Dead.
Wow, 10,000 people! That must be every single practicing Catholic in France!

Catholics should stop and think for a second before they start calling the kettle black, seeing as how they ripped off the story of Jesus from the pagan Mithraists.

This is more of an anti-American thing than an anti-Halloween, thing, I think. They're still pissed about that "freedom fries" thing. The nerve!

Claiming that others " play with death " is hugely ironic, given Christianity is little more than a creepy death cult in its most basic form.

Can somebody please explain to me how a cult that teaches you will reap rewards in heaven for work down here on Earth is not focused on death?

And, if they were aware of historical FACTS, they would know halloween isn't even Christian. The number of people ignorant about their own religion continues to amaze me.

Live and let live. How many people do you see running around trying to stop Christmas or Easter. Grrrrrr.

Oh, that is just So. Freaking. Wrong.

On so many levels.
