That was going to be my next question.

And yeah DCH, I forgot about Barn cats.

In Proverbs King Solomon talks about learning from ants. The Talmud talks about a person getting out of bed like a lion for the service of God in the morning.
And of course the Tanakh has many references to other animals, though not domesticated pets, i.e. dogs and cats. Dogs are shown as street or outdoor animals but not house pets.
Are domesticated cats found in any other literature, i.e. Christian literature, unrelated to ancient Egypt?

Of course there is the mystery of the kangaroo, the wallaby, etc. and their presence ONLY in Australia and nowhere else on earth.

Why do you think that Christian literature is unrelated to ancient Egypt?

Don't try to change the subject. Cats rule this thread.

If you understand evolution, the presence of unique animals on a separate land mass is not very mysterious.

If you don't understand evolution, it would appear that there was a creator with a very strange sense of humor.

Good question. It never seems to be related to Christianity, anyway.

Incidentally, Toto, that's a very handsome kitty in your profile pic.
