Cool money for nothing & the chicks for a fee

beastmaster : is not a "nothing" -- it is most definitiely a something.
Gee, you know, I wuz doing some home schooling a few weeks back. I was pouring over The arrow of time co-written by a top British scientist. Unless my memory fails me, nothing was reputed to be at the root of our universe. Was this a fundie joke or something?

I would have to read that particular book in order to respond. Maybe someone who has read it would care to explain.

Ask around, what is the generally accepted theory of creation in the world today, due to it being the most published most talked about theory?

No one will say super symmetric expansionist holey system theory. Most will reply : zee big bang. This is much ado about nothing. . .
The previously mentioned 4 theories are about what caused the big bang. And since they do not involve something from nothing, they are much ado about something, namely the universe not coming from nothing.

They have left scientific minds. Otherwise I would not know about them. Their evidence is mostly mathmatical.

Honestly I had to read the story a couple of times to actually understand.... I was thinking "why would they run away" and what is that guy talking about "scientific god".......

Honestly I think the atheist and scientist would be the ones laughing because of the Fundies' gross lack of understanding when it came to the "Big Bang Theory".

I thought Hawkings came to the conclusion that there was more likely multiple singularities??? I remember him readying something about him where he had constantly tried to argue that the beginning of the universe did not stem from one singularity.

Of course I could be misinformed.

I agree. I wonder why Sophie thinks that the fundies had the last laugh, or why she thinks we would be amused.

Then he laughed. Then the crowd roared, rocking back and forth in classic fundie style, holding their stomachs and clapping fervently, in seeming endless laughter. 'He told us he was going to make science's God.. but it's just an empty glass HA HA HA HA!!!!'. The wild haired man smiled.

You wouldnt be a scientist by any chance, the brown eyed man asked politely, and winked. 'These rubes gave me all the money and resources I needed to build this little thing, and they have no idea what it's for' he said. Of course they wouldn't believe me even when I told them, and since they were all home schooled and never got a complete science education, they had no idea what I was really working on.'

You crazy fools!', the scientists yelled, and he and his his atheist friend ran full speed out the crowd, as the gathering parted for them. The atheist and the scientist covered their ears to the mocking ha ha ha ha coming from the crowd of fundies, followed microseconds later by a rapid white hot expansion of fresh new spacetime.
C'mon, people! This is GOLDEN! :notworthy
