![]() What was amazing, is how they projected their own anger into their interpretation of your posts. I guess the best way to really piss of a fundy is with calm rational discussion. |

1) Incessant scripture slinging for lack of an argument. 2) They start talking about poop 3) You get banned Oh and here's what they have to say about us, "I did stop by and found it to be a very childish and self-focused site. It sounds like it's membership is full of teenage haters. Hopefully when these guys eventually grow up and become adults, they will learn how to respect others and their beliefs." |

Any of you who are playing with fake names or identities on their site, please don't. Truth is the one thing creationism can not afford, so we should use that to our advantage.
At least one of them expressed the view that while facts can't lie, the interpretation of them can. They try to present it as a dispute between fallible humans (scientists) and the Word of God, when it's really a dispute between fallible humans interpreting scientific facts and fallible humans interpreting the Word of God. They like to think God guided their favourite fallible humans. (But strangely did not guide anyone whose interpretation of the Word of God contradicts their own.) Edit: It looks like they've removed the thread from public view. There was one really nice post near the end, where one guy explained that everything from vaccinations to flouride were conspiracies. It vaguely reminded me of a fella who posted on this forum about scientists trying to poison people because they used to put mercury in fillings. I wonder who found out mercury was poisonous? Priests? |

Given that this is discussing another forum, it is being shifted to ~E~ from S&S.

Some more gems from the discussion over there. This is how they view scientists.
"Science as far as I'm concerned, has only made the world a worse place for human life." - Archangel "Most are puffed up with their knowledge, they will argue "findings" till they are blue in the face, and will debate any creationist anytime, anywhere because they like to look smart." - Sheep of El "Many of them are quite arrogant and hesitant to admit that they maybe wrong..." - JADE "But your "genuineness" of scientists don't want to entertain the though that God might have had something to do with it so they created a definition of science that excludes anything they don't want to discuss." - JADE "Then they would allow discussion of other possibilities than the ones they have deemed "FACT". If they truly wanted to look for natural truth, they would not work so hard to block, ridicule and censor it. They would be more mature and discuss it like adults." - JADE "The problem we have is that scientists have came up with a definition of fact that allows them to say they have found "THEE" answer and we must bow to their interpretation of face ridicule. They don't allow any other ideas to even be discussed because they don't want their sacred cow killed. The circle their wagons and silence the disbelievers through censorship." - JADE "Just the fact that scientists have created their own version and definition of "fact" shows that. Their constant drumbeat that a theory is a fact also implies that science is infallible. They have set their own rules to allow for inroads to excuses for why they are still correct even when the true facts show they are not. That means they believe they are infallible and they make every attempt to protect their theories even when they are obviously incorrect." - JADE "They teach stuff like man from monkey or chimp as if it was a fact, then they change from monkey or chimp to apes as they find they were wrong. Then since they realize that all of these and some of the future assumptions are suspect to change, they use "common ancestor" to cover a wide field of creatures. But they are still not letting loose the belief that somehow we are related to apes." - JADE "The textbooks I studied from proclaimed that the big bang was the starting cause of natural selection.Just one of the many claims of "science" that has changed over the years." - Sheep of El |
