Not to kill the topic, but a lot of us have been waiting for an answer to that very question for a while now.

Creationism, and specifically its current pseudonym Intelligent Design, is based on using misconceptions of evolution to set up for attack. It's a big PR stunt to get creationism into the schools and nothing more. The one thing they hate is when you stop the defense from their accusations and call their bluff, asking what their replacement theory is. They have nothing to offer. So I can predict safely that you won't get an answer, because they have none above "evolution is false".

And the reason for that it quite simple: evolution is wrong, has to be wrong, because they do not like it. They utterly refuse to accept being related to monkeys. (Strangely, though, nobody says "I ain't no fish!" )

They've never thought about an alternative (beyond blind acceptance of one particular myth). Creationism is barely pro-Bible (or any other tale) at all: it is quintessentially anti-evolution.

Welcome Sonic. Creation science is the future. It will correct all the mistakes present in our out-dated scientific theories that we have at the present. (snicker) Once the guidance of the holy spirit has replaced heathen chemistry with alchemy and astronomy with astrology. True science has been tainted by the devil and until science and the scientific process itself can be purified ID will not stand properly on its own.
