Default Proof that the Roman gods exist

Well, at least Cupid exists.

Why is this any different from claiming to see Jesus in a biscuit?

This is based on a real live puppy. That's the difference, if biscuits were live, you wouldn't want to be anywhere near them, I know, I've seen biscuits move by themselves (well some creepy alien thing inside maybe) and its very disturbing to one's appetite.

Not that I'd want to eat the puppy either.

I thought Jesus was a cracker, no not in the racist way, in the 'body of Christ', Holy Communion kind of way. Biscuits 'rise' and would make better sense to me as.

Otis, you are a saint. I've never thought about it that way, but you are right, crackers and biscuits do "rise". What a concept. How iconic.

Is that why the Jews eat unleavened bread? Because it hasn't risen yet?

Thumbs down

The version of Cupid from serious myths and art has rather little to do with the pop-art Valentine's Day portrayal of Cupid. Equating the two makes about as much sense as saying that the evidence substantiating the historical existence of St. Nicholas is evidence for the existence of Santa. And of course, the heart symbol is only associated with the pop-art version of Cupid, not with either the original myths about Cupid or the Renaissance artists who portrayed Cupid.

Cupid knows this and so tailors his message to modern day audiences, with their modern day expectations of what Cupid is about.

Many years ago, I made a trip to Disneyland. They had a cow there that had an image of Mickey Mouse on it (no joke, it was natural - so they claimed). I took that as proof that Mickey Mouse exists.
