Seems the same to me, That however does not give me a license to remove the name or alter the text to conform it to my beliefs.

I
could, however to so do, would be a violation of
my conscience, and of

But that presents the question of what those "few documents" were comprised of, And The Scriptures
say;
Quote:
And it came to pass, when Moshe had made an end of writing the words of this Law ("this Torah") in a book, until they were finished, That Moshe commanded the Levites which carried the Ark of The Covenant of YHWH, saying; "Take this book of The Law ("the Torah"), and put it in the side of The Ark of The Covenant of YHWH your Elohim, that it may be there for a witness against you." (Deuteronomy 31:24-26)

Looking back over the preceding verses, chapters, and books, the constant reiteration is,
Quote:
"Keep ALL of the words of this Law ("this Torah") to do them", "Keep ALL of these commandments", "Observe to do ALL of the words of this Law;"("this Torah")..........+++++++

Thus the
written injunction enjoined the "keeping" and the "observing" of an extensive body of commandments and statutes, known as The Torah.
But the record is also clear that Moshe
DID NOT keep nor enforce "
ALL" of the
written Law ("Torah"), specifically, he prohibited the customary and commanded practice of circumcision, without which no man could become a partaker of that Covenant.
Certainly evidence that the
Oral Torah (Law and Doctrine) of Moshe, over-ruled and countermanded the commandment given in the
written Torah.
