I'm a veteran user? Nay, merely a post slut.

Remember, even a broken clock is right twice a day. You were bound to come up with something I would agree with once in a while. Keep posting, it might happen again.

Member Weltall, there are at least 3 members that dicyphered medorator to be moderator, I think that most intellegent individuals are not thrown off my a mispelled word to know its intent, I have allready conceded and opologised for my astrocious grammer and spelling,n mercy!n I percieve my life in Heaven, although I'm nowhere near an individual that must really be in paradise, like bill gates, I'm in Heaven simply because I am concious of the world about me, my PC,TV,and my wife by my side, what more can one ask for??

I know what you were trying to say. I was generalizing your other posts. I wouldn't think Bill Gates is in paradise, what with the issues his company has to face, but I figure your last sentence other than that makes a whole lot of sense.

Default political correctness,

Member Davidm, I read somewhere of the correctness of addressing fellow members to be correct to apply 'member',, I also read somewhere in an english text that 'are' are the the correct word in place of 'is'. as a linking verb, 'bussiness English' 4th edition,

Default Are, grew on me,..

Member Andy, when I first started to use 'are' in place of 'is' , it seemed awkward, but as I kept using it,it kinda grew on me, and decided to use 'are' as a peculier style, it drives some members up the wall,heh,heh,...

Member Cojana, my dictionary lists six meanings for member. I was enjoying your salutation in the spirit of meaning No. 2: the penis.

As for is/are, "is" links to singular formulations and "are" to plural ones. Thus:

He is a member.

They are members.

So, in your post above, since the word "word" is singular, the correct form would be: ."...are [B]is[/i] the correct word in placed of 'is'...

Though, of course it really isn't... except when linking to plural nouns. Now even I'm getting confused ...

Cool Hey, didn't think of that member

M3ember Davidm, my reference to member does not not imply, the member willy, it will be member no 2, #1 will be member person, #2 will be willy, I can use member #2 on member#1 whom critizise, thank you for the code,
