There's an infamous quote about atheists/patriots/citizens often attributed to George H. W. Bush (current president's father) and disputed by some. I came across this in my browsings:

Due to a backlog of requests, it would take about two years for them to get the documents to me.

So... I'm about 2 hours from College Station. Do you suppose they'd let anyone look at Item # CF01193-002? Would it be that simple? And if that someone happened to have a digicam in his backpack...? I suppose it isn't that simple though.

FOI form? All the best. 2 years sounds like a self interested limitation and therefore obstruction and therefore illegal.

But I'm impressed, I know what it can be like getting hold of fairly innocuous documents so all the best. Keep us posted! If you do it that is.
