That presupposition has buggerall to do with atheism, and quite a lot to do with the history of the phrase. It's an idiom in English, and it applies almost exclusively to aggressive behavior.

Dang drusus, you don't get it. Giving as good as you get can apply to polite behavior as well.

Question

Starboy, what you’ve talked about in this second-last post is Church-State Separation. What has it to do with how theists are being treated on this discussion board?

In your opinion. However you could be open minded and instead of assuming the worse you could have just asked a few simple questions.

Dang good question. The theists and some atheists here are poisoning the well by attributing the most negative connotation to all my comments. I am having to discuss my thoughts related to my statements because of their presumptive treatment.

Pardon? I never once said you advocated the elimination of theists. My reference to your scorched earth policy was a metaphor; it describes your approach to discourse, not an embrace of genocide.

Again, you might want to include a tad more nuance in your diet. A rise in your level of HDL argumentation* would be a boon for all our discursive healths.

*A metaphor equating quality discussion with "good" cholesterol.

I linked to multiple examples of religious people who want to uphold that right for themselves and everybody else.

I do find it shocking that you are so ignorant as to what this country was really founded on. Its almost as if you don't care about our country or its constitution. It makes me want to say that Christians suck!
Seebs is as far from ignorant as it gets and this entire paragraph is an ad hominem attack. As for your last line, you've already said that. You like saying it. Don't blame seebs for your desire to repeat it ad nauseam.
