I was reminded of this thread after the very first post you contributed to the current thread.
The former one was called Why I don't buy the flood story, and I tried to summarize some common sense / moral problems with the flood therein (I called those "logical problems", but only to make fun of Jim Larmore, who used the same phrase and obviously didn't have any clue what "logical problems" are).

One of my arguments was (in essence) that "omnibenevolence" would be far more compatible with zipping all the "bad people" out of existence instead of leting them die a horrible death. Thus the argument was a little but more detailed as you presented it here.
