Hi Dave,

In answer to your question white parents have been documented to give birth to twins, one of whom was white and the other dark.
here is the answer that creationists give.

Interesting if true... Do you have any references? I've heard of radical differences in skin colour of twins where the parents were of different races, and that's all I can find from a quick Google: mixed parentage.

Yeah, if the twins are not identical they may inheret a different set of skin color traits from the parents, provided the parents have very different traits to begin with. Noah and his wife would have had to both carry half of all the existant variation in genes that code for cosmetic appearance (skin color, eyes, etc.) to pull it off. Not too fucking likely.

Oh, and I might note that Noah actually had 489 children by his 500th year of life, not just 3.

Somebody estimated that it takes 1000 generations to evolve skin color. A generation is 20, 25 or 30 years.

Do the math.

I thought 3 didn't sound right, but 489. Those must have been some sturdy reproductive organs he and his wife had...I'm a little suspect of the number for other reasons though.

For instance, how effective a copulator would Noah be if he spent much of his time following disembarkment drunk and naked in his tent?

What's more, why didn't any of his fantabulous longevity genes get passed on to us if we're all his great�?� grandchildren?

That is so crazy that it is funny! There were Chinese people before the flood (this is extremely well documentated). Then the flood occurs, wiping out all Chinese people (God dosn't like non-white people?). Then Noah's decendents (whom I've always assumed were white), repopulate the earth, and the ones that go back to China, magically adapt to their environment and convert back to Chinese!
