				 |  A/historicity of Moses and Israelite slaves 
			
			In watching Penn and Teller's Bullshit episode on the Bible, I was reminded of the claim I've often heard that neither Moses, nor the idea of Israelite slaves in Egypt, are based in history.   So, intrigued, I finally decided to search around to see if this was actually true. And the only source for historicity I could find was that Josephus wrote: Quote:

			If you run a search with "Exodus" in a thread title, you will be able to review the ground that has already been covered. Repeatedly.   For example: Motivation for fabricating an Exodus? Archaeohistorical Exodus gains credibility From where comes the Exodus story? |
