I wonder if this bothers atheists.
Does is bother anyone when I write, “blessed be? because it is like saying god bless you or goddess bless. No one has cared about it. So, wiccans are more liked than other religious people. What if a Christian/Muslim/Jew (evil person) wrote god bless you, you would insult him, wouldn’t you? And don’t criticize me for this, because all of you atheists bash monotheistic religions a lot too.So, you can’t say that it is wrong if I bash them. You can’t be hypocrites! Blessings to: Mike Rosoft. A member of this board who said that it is the only religion based on human rights. :notworthy Atheism would be popular if: -There were an atheist symbol -magick was added, people adore magick. Blessed be, ![]() T. |

Currently, atheists oppose Wicca less than they oppose the monotheistic religions. However, you, truthie, may bring about a change in this trend.
[insult deleted] or just has growing up to do? For the life of me I can’t decide. |

It's not your "blessed be" that bothers me. It's your proselytization of Wicca, complete with glaring innacuracies that I find annoying. Especially since I also moderate ~Elsewhere~.

Oh. That's right. You can't. Thus crumbles your argument. |

And if someone told me "Blessing of Mighty Zeus/Invisible Pink Unicorn/Quetzalcoatl be upon you" ?
It would make me smile, and I appreciate the sentiment, but beyond that...so what? Also, I don't see why I need to be represented by a symbol. I'd prefer it if people actually got to know me and my opinions as opposed to glancing at the symbol on my person or website and drawing conclusions from it. And I would have to dispute your casual "people adore magick" because not everybody does. In fact, a lot of people I know think magick is a synonym for "Bullshit", and so far haven't seen any evidence to convince them otherwise. P.S. I would be interested to hear your reply to criticisms of your recent Argumentum ad numeram in this post. |

Here's a better one: Maybe we should add Jesus to it. Jesus is more popular than 'magick,' I bet. On that note, I think you should start spelling magic with two Ks and a scribal E. Like this: Magikke. Or a Q, like this: Magiq. And maybe you could add an umlaut or two to make it seem even more awesöme. |
