Actually, I've been a member of CF since November and right now, I have 655 posts. Because of the blessings..1 for each post that you can "spend" for various items, games, quizzes or changes...there is a different attitude about posting. At CF, wordgame threads, one-liner threads, picture threads are encouraged. We call it post slutting here.

CF must have some incredible band width.

Visit the good folk in ~~E~~ to vent more frustrations if you'd like; there's a 60 page thread on CF bannings, no less. No need to worry, though; you only need reply and tell your story.

Who was the person flaming non-christians, just out of curiosity?
I've been banned twice!

Foolsparade,

I have split your complaint out of this thread and moved it to the Problems & Complaints forum, which is the proper place for such complaints.

Complaints and questions about moderation should not be made within normal threads, since they only serve to derail the threads unnecessarily.

TomJoe/nyj, you have participated on IIDB for at least the past six weeks. You have served as the unofficial representative of CF here--and you have done a good job of it. You chose weeks ago to "get involved in the entire thing here at IIDB". You can't back out now.

But please, do not play rhetorical games with me. I've been doing rhetoric (in the technical sense of the word) for a LONG time. I do it now for a living. I recognize it when I see it.

RT/PHY has provided a fairly detailed narrative of events leading up to his dismissal. You have promised a reply--a reply authorized by Erwin. We have yet to see the reply. We have only seen rhetorical suggestions of bad character on his part.

Let's see the reply.

WOW - Erwin authorizes what his staff is doing and saying over here.

I was getting fed up over there.
Pretty sad I had to come over here to know what is really going on.

Funny how CF staff will explain themselves openly over here but not on CF.

This confirms my decision to leave CF.

Oh what a fool. :notworthy

I don't have a lot of experience with these sites, and these sorts of people. I was appalled, and I reacted. I retracted what was requested of me, and then I was still banned. There were several emails, actually. Three of them were repeats requesting that I edit my post, and the other one was to inform me that I was permanently banned. It did not specify for which post.

One learns best through error than by authority, doesn't one? I suppose I was trolling, after all, though I didn't know it at the time. Anyway, thanks, but I have no desire to appeal. These folks are nutters.

And now, it looks like IIDB has restricted my access so that I can no longer post new threads here.

:notworthy

I guess I really messed up. My apologies.

I swear if you all leave me alone over there with Mark Kennedy, John Crawford, and William Schroeder, I will come back here and unload on you mhess13 style.

Think I'm kidding?

Job 40:15-20 (KJV) Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. He is the chief of the ways of God

Dr Gould "A mutation doesnt produce major new material, you dont make new species by mutating the species.. A mutation is not the cause of evolutionary change.(1984 p. 106 emp. in orig.)

There's plenty more where that came from. :banghead:

The ~E~ forum is a special forum. It's become the home for all CF complaint topics as well as for topics from other forums that are of little substance.

No one can start new topics in this forum but people can post to topics that are sent here. Your forum access rights are the same as all other non-staff people here.
