Default Policy discussions from the CF Thread in ~E~

IIDB isn't organized enough to have an appeals system.

What the post means is that a thread was started in the Moderators' Conference Room.http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showpost.php...postcount=1988
You mean CF is more organized than you guys??

I think this may be an opportunity for IIDB to develop rules and a protocol for appeals.

How about a 2 tiered system where at the members request the appeal can be public?

:notworthy:

Oh, we need at least three layers of appeal, with Writs of Habeas Threadus and discretionary certiorari! :Cheeky:

Cool. A "private forum" only for mods to discuss member concerns. Kinda like the old hidden posts at CF.

And I know there is accountability here. So there CAN be accountability and secrecy.

Buzz that was already established a while back with seeb's secret poll on you. He explained how that was the only fair way to do it otherwise it might be tainted .

So they can exist , the only question is do they?

I would think that the members here want the same kind of openness that they want at CF

This is a good opportunity for IIDB to establish a format for that.

BTW you can not compare this to the secret notes at Cf ( as you did in one post) cause IIDB also has secret notes as part of their program unless the updated version dropped that feature.

BTW I like the new look here, very classy !!

Might be fun to grab some CF Support OPs decrying CF practice and see whether they are solved here in the cradle of the Accountability and Secrecy Cannot Co-Exist movement.

mommy and oftenbuzzard both err in assuming this thread is anything but a place to hold discussions about CF.

The EAC is a joke, folks.
