Ashley Smith, the woman who says she persuaded suspected courthouse gunman Brian Nichols to release her by talking about her faith in God, discloses in a new book that she gave him methamphetamine during the hostage ordeal.

I guess it's a miracle God put that crystal meth in her purse!

:rolling:

It's a plain fact.... faith in God, and a good stash of meth, will always be useful when dealing with dangerous criminals.

I heard this last week, and thought it was pretty funny, too. Boy, during her "15 minutes of fame" on all the networks, she NEVER mentioned that little fact. H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E is the word which comes to mind!

But wait! She wasn't using it anymore - this was just what was left over from her BAAAAAD days as a drug-abuser...then she found jeezus , and he saved her. :banghead: **christians are so gullible**

My favorite part?

When she says "This was totally a God thing..."

You know, except for the CRYSTAL METH THAT YOU GAVE HIM!!

That is one dumb bitch.

Seems like she thinks god had tried to get her attention before (and to get her off drugs):

But that wasn't enough to get her off drugs, so he sent a, um, "suspected courthouse gunman" to kill four other people before trying to get her off drugs again.

Actually... when you think about it:

God tries to steer her off the road.

God sends a murderer to her house.

I mean, it doesn't look like God is trying to save her or get her attention, it sure looks like God is trying to kill her.

A friend of mine knew a woman who firmly believed that God was trying to kill her.

So how long ago was it? Is she still alive today? Inquiring minds want to know.

I heard about this maybe 15 years ago. She was apparently thus far unharmed, although she barely escaped some attacks.

I pretty much assume we're talking real full-blown paranoid schizophrenia here.

Pretty inept god, by the sound of things. Surely for a god, the desire for a given state of affairs and the state of affairs itself are one and the same.
