I would like to see how Noah would have coped with moose on board. Their digestive systems undergo changes from winter to summer in order to extract the maximum amount of nutrition from the change in food supply. In the summer they need a lot of water plants (containing salts) and green fodder. In the winter they feed on twigs. Moose will gorge on hay in the winter if they can find it but it is not nutritious for them at that time of the year. So...... did Noah lay in a supply of twigs and branches for the moose and beavers? That would take up a LOT of space, and it would be pretty heavy, too.

Aside from the weight of the food, and the animals, there's the tremendous amount of water than would be on board. Assuming a flawless construction, would a ship (boat?) with that amount of water in it still meet the buoyancy specs? |

Who knows! I'm just attacking the sheer volume aspect to try and dismiss the notions of morons who may, despite their delusions, have a good sense of math and science and basic geometry and volume scales. If I can just get one person to think about their beliefs with a bit of intelligence my somewhat pointless mission will be justified, at least for me

Do not forget that Noah had to catch a pair of each fresh water fish species and plant life.
Should not add too much to the dimensional problem . . . they were all small fry and seedlings, of course. . . . --J.D. |

Which it would do for maybe a day, before it sprang innumerable leaks and sank like a rock... Or perhaps the animals survived by clinging to all those timbers that were left floating after the ark broke to pieces? |

Since the ark myth has been completely and utterly anihilated, a more important question is, why do fundies still believe in it? I honestly don't know how it's possible to believe it?? Any ideas, pray tell.
