The harvest was a decent one, no doubt it would have been spectacular if one of my spots didn’t get poached, but that’s the way it goes and I’m glad I split the crop up. The smoke has a sweet taste to it, it’s hard to explain but it would be like rolling nice weed with those fruity papers, in this case blueberry. I guess that’s the best way to describe it. I believe this plant is of an indoor variety, which was bred to grow short. Yield was a little less than 2oz per plant. I’m still a little amazed at how few leaves there were on the plants. I’m a little disappointed there were virtually no leaves on them at all. Last year we had enough leaves and used them in several attempts at making “Ice Cold Hash?. I had hoped to take you through the process but that will have to wait ‘till next year. Ice Cold Hash is kind of a cool, natural process to separate the THC from the vegetation. There’s no chemicals or heat involved and the process is rather simple. That being said, we were hoping to perfect our technique with this year’s crop. The ice and cold help knock the THC from the leaves where it will sink to the bottom while the plant matter floats on the chilled water. After that, various screens are used and the result is a pure and natural hash. Last year was our first attempt at making hash though we had less than satisfactory results. The first few test batches went from just plain ugly, to bad but we got to the point where our final attempt yielded enough hash for two joints that were amazingly tasty and potent. We were looking forward to refining our process this year but were a little disappointed that there weren’t enough leaves to even put together a small test batch. I would have no problem using good bud but not before I get the process perfect. So far I’ve gotten close to two-dozen seeds, which I have stored in a small jar with a proper label. We may look at planting a couple of varieties next year but that remains to be determined. We’ve talked about the ’05 crop and what we would do different next time. For now my timer is being used for the outdoor Christmas lights. I’d like to get busy again early in the New Year. Thanks for tagging along on this year’s adventure. I hope you’ve enjoyed it. Qwiz |

Qwiz, if we weren't separated by the length (and breadth) of the US, we'd have to get together to sample each other's harvests.
And if I didn't live in a country run by drug-crazed fascists, I'd post some pics of my crop here. Unfortunately... ![]() |

On that note, I would like to introduce you to Shane Koyczan who won a slam poetry world title. The short video clip of one of his performances is rather interesting or better yet perhaps you may find it inspiring. Simply go to this site and select the “multimedia clip*? near the bottom of the page. This one is not the performance that won him the title but it’s still a good one. Click on multimedia clip* & scroll to the top to see it. Enjoy, Qwiz |

This would suit better in overgrow.com.

I’ve seen the “resident lawyer? deal with the above legal issue with a little misinformation that has thrown him off track, putting him well behind in the learning curve. He seems like a decent guy but he has quite a bit of studying to do on this issue. Others at the site have pointed him in the right direction. We’ll see how this all plays out. Qwiz |
