Really? Are you like Pat Robinson and have personal phone conversations with God????? If not or if you are not God or the freakin' second coming of JESUS don't tell people what God suggests!

Tattoos are art. Art on a different canvas than usual. Life is enhanced by art.

You should have the attitude in all things instead of going on and on about tattoos and how God "may let you keep them in heaven".

Maybe if they fucking did their job, which every principle of leadership suggests is to make sure the people working under them do their jobs right, they wouldn't be so busy. And now, the stonewall is that a discretionary appeal is not an appeal as of right.

God! If someone asks for information, and it's determined to stonewall the answer, just say so. If someone asks for mercy (discretion) and it's granted, the excuse that they have no right to the mercy is a piss-poor one. Of course they don't; that's why it's mercy. Jeffrey would have been completely within his rights to deny a discretionary appeal. He is totally out to lunch in thinking that, having granted it, he can now say it's not an appeal as of right.

I have a new set of CF rules, that are more accurate:

1. You may post what we want to allow.
2. If you post something else, we'll edit or delete it.
3. What we feel like allowing is completely at our discretion.
4. We may tell you why we edited or deleted it, but don't count on it.
5. If we don't feel like doing so, you have no right to know.
6. Don't criticize us; we're in charge.
7. If you disagree with any of this, you're welcome to leave. Otherwise, see Rules 1-6 for your rights.
I know, right?! UGH.

I'm banging my head against the wall here.

Considering some of the crap I saw written about me in the staff forums, you'd think I'd have realized I wasn't going to get a fair shake, but I didn't expect them to be quite so transparent about it. And I'll eat my hat if AA calls shenanigans on it, because God forbid anyone should cross the thin, pixellated blue line.

Zimbardo, the architect of that experiment, plugged his new book, The Lucifer Effect: Understanding How Good People Turn Evil on The Daily Show a few weeks back.

I'm waiting for the library to get it in so I can read it.

What are the rules for linking to vendors like Amazon? I've got the link right here on my clip board.

Without those rules, it would just be another forum suffering from human dynamics. With the rules, in some areas the escalation of interactions are reminiscent of the Stanford University Prison Experiment that had to be shut down for the safety of the volunteers.

Maybe that stuff should have been written out in public, where people could at least get a good laugh from it.

I'm surprised they can stand to be around you....do you preach at them too???

The attitude I have a problem with whether it comes from those with or without tattoos is the one that suggests that God is ambivalent towards us having them.
Unless you know what God wants personally don't tell everyone else what she/he/it suggests! *see above post to you*

His Word on the matter is that if you want to be Holy dont do ink What you did before you wanted to be Holy is dealt with at the Cross and is insignificent.
WHAT?

As for going to heaven with tats well they certainly wont keep you out whenever you may have got them. My quess is that if you wanted them so much when you also wanted to serve God He will probably be merciful to you and let you keep them in heaven. The down side of that is that even though you might not go to hell you may look a little out of place in heaven.
Oh yes everyone is going to be so worried about tattoos in heaven...
