Please, please. please, according to Diogenes the Cynic stories in the Bible about Jesus are "Akin to Bullshit Reenactments and UFO abductions..."

Why would you want to take SOME of the "Bullshit Reenactments" to make a "Great story".

Millions have NOT been enthralled---perhaps MAULED.

Examine "Against the Galilileans.

Never again should the MANKIND be forced under the threat of death to accept FICTION as the Truth--never, NEVER, NEVER again.
aa, taking stories as 'truth' is asking for trouble. And that is, of course, where the gospel JC story has ended up - causing trouble politically/socially and psychologically. Therefore? Ditch the story as nothing but trouble? I would suggest that it's our interpretation of that NT story that is at fault - not the story itself. I don't think the writers of that story were out to cause trouble. That their story ended up causing trouble is more a reflection upon the reader of that story than the creators of that story. The creators of that story were not simple minded; it's a complex story with layer after layer of philosophical musings. Allowing endless debate. Yes, one can interpret that gospel story in a negative light - but that is the easy way out of a very complex story....:constern01:

Please, please, please, I am NOT the one who claimed people were SLAUGHTERED by Christians it was the Emperor of Rome.

Please, the Jesus story did NOT enthrall--people were Slaughtered for NOT accepting the Monstrous tale as truth.
