I don't think it goes farther than the fact that ancient kings liked to claim that they were descended from a god. And if every ancient figure who claimed to be descended from a god actually was, then of course it would look like gods like to fuck mortal women. You can explain this one quite easily without the whole concept of a god being a human invention.

Boy I am glad we live in a more evolved culture, where a woman wont be stoned for getting a good fuck. They can Fuck who ever they want to. It just never really seems to be me.

Well now cult only based on sex. hmmm sounds fun. how about this, we build a church for those who need to get fucked. It will have education on all the positions, techniques, and styles of sex. With demonstrations too. maybe one day.
