Just a question about the dove in the Noah story, if the trees had been under water for a couple months, would they not be dead and void of leaves? Where did the bird get the leaf? It surely would not have grown so fast. Just wondering.

Not to nitpick and further derail this thread, but John Adams and Samuel Adams were cousins, not brothers. (I only know this because Kid #2 just did a major report on Samuel Adams.)

Yes, but in the NT understanding of "brother" as in "brother of the Lord" in Galatians this extends to "cousins" as well . . . yes . . . er . . . um . . . grumble . . . grumble. . . .
