Hey ~M~ - this is a discussion board. Do you want to discuss this book that you have brought up? Does it contradict Ehrman? What does it say that is interesting?

he offered arguments that aimed tooffer a greater probative value to the diciple authorship. i have never heard the case for it before and i thought his points were worthwhile to examine in further detail. if you would like to know more, then i suggest you buy the book. even if, after all, he is just an apologist. |

If they are worthwhile to examine in further detail, they are worthwhile you providing a summary of one or two of them for the board. The trouble is that when people say "if you want to know about X's arguments read X's book" instead of providing a précis, I tend to assume they are doing that because they don't understand X's arguments, which means there is little hope for me, a non scholar casual lurker.
