A factor which even transcends whether truth or fiction applied here is that no one in Europe challenged or questioned the Gospels, accepting it as gospels from a far away land and by people who had no incline with its descriptions. That they did not have a choice here with Rome or the church for some 1800 years does not excuse them. Today, the belief has become part of their being, as with a language, and cannot be separated. The cherished lie has become more preferred than a disdained lie.
Thank you Joseph. You've confirmed what I concluded all along; a factor which even transcends whether truth or fiction applied here is that no one in the entire "Hebrew" clan questioned their inherited stories, accepting those stories from ancient tales and superstious people with no inclination to question their ancient outrageous claims. That the Hebrews did not have a choice here with all the surrounding wiser men of their times does not excuse them in their deliberate deceivements. Today the Jewish belief in those ancient lies has become the identity of their being, not that those tales are true, but simply because the legendary lies are con-sistently held as identity. "The Jews" have thus truly been left with NOTHING to brag about or to shout a pious supremacy from the mouths of Jewish funnymentalists. And so we see how one lie was built upon another in the Jewish tradition of gods, Hebrews, and "sons of Joseph" and how Judaism really doesn't have any more a reliable history or a solid truth that anyone should think it to be other than what it is - men with mouths to speak lots of hate and vengence and indoctrinate their children to think likewise.

I much prefer my IDENTITY to be otherwise, thank you!

ps.. give it up Joseph, you can't win for losing.

This is baseless: the stiff-necked Jews were known for challenging all their prophets, including Moses. The situation is very varied with regards the Gospels and Hebrew wiritings. The former has not a shred of evidence of anything it says, while the later is the world's most vindicated writings, with relics identifying over 70% of the Hebrew with a thread of historical books written 100 years apart.

Aside from history, none of the constants made in the Hebrew have ever been disproven: we still have no scientific alternative to Creationism, nor any mathematical alternative to Monotheism as at 2009. Not a bad record.

Ah, I think this merges the events of 70 when the temple was burned with those of 135 when Hadrian demolished the city, built a new one called Aelia, and banned all Jews from living there. (Not that this should affect the argument either way)
Jews have been banned numerously throughout history and barred from returning to their original homeland. The numerous dislodgings by so many nations for so long proves only one fact: the defense of the right to freedom of belief is a serious business.

Ironically, most of the nations which invaded and stole this land are not around anymore, and those that remain are openly declaring there was never a Jewish temple in Jerusalem and that the Jews never had a sovereign state here: its a lesson how to beget 5 minutes of fame these days - then disappear into the bag of history:

"I SHALL MAKE JERUSALEM AS A BURDEN UNTO THE NATIONS"

Irrelevent. There was no Jesus in Judea - not by that name.

While European Christianity has been obsessed in negating anything Hebrew for 1000's of years, the reverse occured: a 2000 year dead language became resurrected and alive again - this has never occured in Geo-History. This irony is not given any regard, but it is most significant.

My post was number #191 and it is my personal evaluation of the preceding discussion.

It is very generous of you not to dispute it; it is only one vote, not a thesis to defend.

I voted strongly disagree because I once found a way of holding a conversation with God and asked Him this very question. God said, there was no Jesus Christ who walked on this Earth.

Then you are right.

Pity, your very special vote counts only as one as it does my ignorant vote.

The vote cast by god should count as much as an infinite number.

Its a trick question. One needs a good reason to agree or dispute. I think the story is true by belief but not by any facts; the term Christ cannot apply under any conditions and this term was not in use till 170 CE. The name Jesus would also not apply in Judea. The mystery of christianity is that all humans have an inherent belief in a God source - and this is a most exploitable facility and open to spiritual blackmail - specially so when it rests on the negation of others, free bonus salvation - plus Tasmania.
