Gosh, I appreciated the opportunity to read this chapter on the age of Jesus. Fascinating. It sure buttresses the picture of competing sects using HB prophecy to argue about the "historical Jesus" (eg Isaiah )

It seems so hokey placing the gospels and the pauline material all in the first century. The more I learn the clearer this becomes.
